1. Head Constable (Motor Mechanic)
No of posts: 07

Pay Scale: Level - 4 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 25,500 - 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).

Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years as on 22nd January 2025.

Educational Qualification:
i) 10+2 pass from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute with three years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or three year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

2. Constable Motor Mechanic

No of posts: 44

Pay Scale: Level - 3 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 21,700 — 69,100 (as per 7th CPC).

Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years as on 22nd January 2025.

Educational Qualification:
i) Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institution; and
ii) Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade from a recognized Institution; or
iii) Three years experience in respective trade from a recognized firm.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as below:
SC, ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC-NCL): 6 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years
